Embroidery vs Screen Printing: Which Is Right for Your Logo?
Doreens Textile Team · 24 Jun 2026 · 6 min read
Embroidery delivers a premium, textured finish that maintains its appearance through years of washing, making it the preferred choice for corporate polos, caps, jackets, and other professional uniforms. Screen printing, on the other hand, is a more cost-effective option for large, single or multi-colour designs on high-volume orders such as event T-shirts, promotional apparel, and team wear.
As a general guideline, choose embroidery for logos smaller than 10cm on structured garments like polos, jackets, and caps. For larger graphics and bold designs on T-shirts, screen printing offers excellent value and visual impact. If your artwork includes gradients, intricate details, or photographic elements, DTF (Direct-to-Film) or sublimation printing will deliver the sharpest and most vibrant results.
At Doreens Textile, our production team carefully reviews every logo and artwork file before providing a quote, ensuring we recommend the decoration method that will reproduce your design with the highest quality and accuracy.
